1. General Information

Lifelong Building Curriculum Studies LLC, doing business as Athority Ministries (“Athority Ministries,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides educational content, applied ministry intelligence, cultural research, articles, reflection tools, and related resources for ministry leaders, parents, mentors, chaplains, counselors, and others serving people in spiritual and community settings.

The information available through athority.org, pathway.athority.org, our email communications, and other services that link to this Disclaimer is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not individualized professional advice.

2. No Professional Relationship

Using Athority Ministries’ content, contacting Athority Ministries, receiving an email, or using the Spiritual Pathway Finder does not establish a therapist-client, counselor-client, physician-patient, attorney-client, clergy-penitent, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.

Athority Ministries’ content is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who understands the facts of a particular situation. You remain responsible for your decisions, actions, ministry practices, and use of the information.

3. Spiritual Pathway Finder

The Spiritual Pathway Finder is an educational and reflective tool. It is intended to help an adult consider possible ways of understanding and supporting another person.

The Pathway is not:

  • a medical, psychological, or clinical diagnostic instrument;
  • a mental-health, suicide-risk, abuse-risk, or safeguarding assessment;
  • a determination of another person’s beliefs, motives, character, or spiritual condition;
  • a substitute for a direct and respectful conversation with the person concerned;
  • a substitute for therapy, counseling, medical care, pastoral discernment, safeguarding procedures, or emergency assistance; or
  • validated for employment, education, housing, insurance, credit, disciplinary, legal, or other high-impact decisions.

Pathway results depend on the user’s selections and personal impressions. Those impressions may be incomplete, mistaken, or affected by the user’s own perspective. Athority Ministries does not independently evaluate the person being considered and cannot guarantee that a result accurately represents that person.

Use a first name, initials, or a non-identifying label whenever possible. Do not enter another person’s full name, contact information, medical records, counseling records, or unnecessary sensitive information.

4. Mental Health, Crisis, and Emergency Situations

Athority Ministries does not provide medical treatment, therapy, crisis intervention, emergency response, or suicide-risk assessment. Content discussing depression, trauma, abuse, loss, spiritual desolation, or similar subjects is educational and should not be used to diagnose or treat any condition.

If you believe that you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact appropriate local emergency services or a qualified crisis professional. Do not wait for a response from Athority Ministries and do not rely on the website, email, or the Spiritual Pathway Finder during an emergency.

In the United States, call 911 for an immediate emergency or call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Outside the United States, contact the appropriate local emergency or crisis service.

5. Safeguarding and Mandatory Reporting

Athority Ministries’ resources do not replace a church, ministry, school, employer, counselor, chaplain, or other organization’s safeguarding procedures. They also do not replace duties imposed by law, professional standards, denominational policy, employment obligations, or mandatory-reporting requirements.

If information suggests abuse, neglect, exploitation, self-harm, violence, or another safety concern, consult an appropriately qualified professional and follow applicable law and organizational procedures.

6. Ministry, Spiritual, and Theological Information

Athority Ministries’ materials may discuss religion, spirituality, ministry, church life, family life, culture, and personal experience. Such material reflects the stated research, editorial, or ministry perspective of the identified author or Athority Ministries at the time it was published.

The material is not a declaration concerning every tradition, congregation, minister, parent, or individual’s beliefs or practices. Readers are responsible for evaluating how a resource relates to their own tradition, role, community, ethical responsibilities, and circumstances.

No Pathway result or article should be used to label, shame, coerce, manipulate, discipline, or exclude another person.

7. Research and Accuracy

Athority Ministries seeks to provide thoughtful and useful information, but cultural conditions, research, laws, resources, third-party services, and professional guidance can change. Athority Ministries does not warrant that every statement is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every context.

Unless a publication expressly states otherwise, Athority Ministries’ articles and applied ministry intelligence should not be treated as peer-reviewed academic research, legal findings, clinical standards, or statistical predictions.

You should verify information that is important to a decision and consult an appropriately qualified professional when the circumstances warrant it.

8. No Guaranteed Results

Athority Ministries does not guarantee that use of its content, research, recommendations, emails, products, software, or the Spiritual Pathway Finder will produce a particular spiritual, ministry, relational, organizational, financial, or commercial result.

Examples, stories, testimonials, or illustrations describe individual experiences and do not promise that another person or organization will receive the same result.

9. External Links and Third-Party Resources

Athority Ministries may link to books, articles, research, organizations, services, social platforms, or other third-party resources. A link is provided for convenience or context and does not necessarily constitute endorsement.

Athority Ministries does not control third-party content, availability, privacy practices, security, products, or services. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use a third-party resource.

Athority Ministries does not currently use affiliate links, paid endorsements, sponsored content, or third-party advertising. If that changes, Athority Ministries will provide disclosures where required.

10. Copyright and Quotations

Athority Ministries respects intellectual-property rights and may quote, discuss, link to, or refer to third-party material for purposes such as commentary, criticism, education, scholarship, or research. Whether a particular use qualifies as fair use depends on the facts and applicable law. Nothing in this Disclaimer declares every use of third-party material to be fair use.

If you believe material on an Athority Ministries service infringes your copyright, contact us with enough information to identify the work, the material at issue, your contact information, and the basis for your concern.
